Ciné-Histoire présente : LES SEPT SAMOURAÏS d’Akira Kurosawa.
Chef-d’œuvre intemporel du cinéma japonais, Les Sept Samouraïs a marqué l’histoire du 7ᵉ art par sa narration épique, ses combats spectaculaires et son influence durable sur le cinéma mondial. Lauréat du Lion d’argent au 15ᵉ Festival international du film (Mostra) de Venise, ce film est à (re)découvrir sur grand écran.
La projection sera introduite par Pascal Bastien, professeur au département d’histoire de l’Université du Québec à Montréal, qui partagera ses connaissances sur le contexte historique et cinématographique du film.

Winner of the Silver Lion at the 15th Venice International Film Festival (Mostra), this film is not to be missed on the big screen.
The screening will be introduced by Pascal Bastien, professor in the Department of History at the Université du Québec à Montréal, who will share insights on the historical and cinematic context of the film.
